But how did it all start?

Over lunch at the local steelworks some 35 years ago, Andrew Dabill and Christopher Lloyd discussed the mutual need for a change in direction. Having previously discussed a gap in the market for a service that provided good quality fencing, Andrew and Christopher found their new venture! Hillsborough Fencing was born and has gone from strength to strength since. Being family men, their sons later followed them into the business.

Constantly evolving and supplying to both private and commercial contracts, Hillsborough Fencing needed to move to a new purpose-built premises on Livesey Street, Sheffield. These new premises include a large shop and a wood yard housing a large variety of fencing panels, gates, sheds, and timber. More recently, the yard has made space for new and redundant railway sleepers.

Now, having over 35 years of valuable experience, Hillsborough Fencing continues to deliver a high-quality service to all of our customers, backed up by the organic nature and ambition you'd expect from a local family business. Offering both supply-only and supply-and-fit services for any type of garden, customers can enjoy their gardens, safe in the knowledge that Hillsborough Fencing is on hand to help whenever, wherever, and however they are needed.

For our decking, nothing beats our 120mm x 28mm tanalised decking boards. We only source Redwood Decking, making it ideal for outdoor use.

 Fully pressure-treated and available in several lengths, reducing cutting and re-sealing. Sizes shown are taken before profiling; actual decking is marginally smaller in dimensions.

Composite

Similar to our decking category. When it comes to composite, nothing gets close to our range of composite decking options.
