English Larch 200mm x 100mm (8'' x 4'')

200mm x 100mm (8" x 4") English Larch timber sleepers are ideal for raised beds, and landscaped walls in the outdoors. This is a smaller version of our more traditional large sleeper, making it better suited for DIY and smaller landscape projects. The sleepers are made from English Larch, and do not require treatment, so avoiding nasty chemicals etc. Larch is a knot free, waterproof timber and is an ideal solution for landscaping applications.

Compared to spruce and pine, Larch is more weather-proof because of its more dense wood structure (about 40% higher density than spruce/pine) and high content of resin. Because of this, larch doesn't need extra treatment and can be installed in its natural state even in external conditions.
